Report to the Head of Human Resources

Choosing the best candidate for the work of the caretaker was not an easy task.

After watching the final four videos of the different candidates and comparing them with the education and experience requirements of the best job in the world- Island caretaker Great Barrier Reef, we have decided that Greg from Singapore fits very well with the requested needs.

In Greg’s video we can see that he is a very extrovert person, he seems open –minded, and he explains us about how excited he is about getting out, trying new things and meeting new people and cultures by living with the local population.

He also shows a very adventurous attitude and interest for the job. In the video we have seen how he has searched for information about the Great Barrier Reef and went out to the subway to explain everybody his knowledge.

In addition, and bearing in mind that the ideal candidate will have to do physical efforts because of the island characteristics, we think that Greg looks in good physics as we have noticed that he appears practising adventure sports on the video.

Finally, in the video he also shows good skills engaging with others and interest about learning from the tourists and local people at the same time he uses his skills as a teacher reporting back to the whole world everything the island has to offer.
